Global Tax Manager
Our Client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Tax Manager to lead the organization’s tax function. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, including preparation of the quarterly and annual provision. You’ll collaborate across departments to streamline processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical expertise on both domestic and international tax matters in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will serve as the in-house tax authority while also managing the company’s relationship with external auditors’ tax teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a global tax strategy that minimizes risk and optimizes cash flow.
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including footnote disclosures and supporting memoranda.
• Manage U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, schedules, and controls to support reporting and compliance activities.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation, R&D credit claims, and Section 174 analysis.
• Provide guidance on international tax planning as well as M&A-related tax analysis and structuring when applicable.
• Monitor worldwide tax developments and evaluate their impact on the company.
• Design and implement scalable tax processes that align with business growth.
• Partner with FP&A and Legal teams on intercompany matters.
About You
You are a results-driven problem solver who takes full ownership of tax and compliance challenges. Rather than relying on last-minute filings or outdated documentation, you proactively build systems that ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and trust with regulators. For you, “close enough” is never acceptable when precision and reliability are required.
You recognize that accurate, proactive tax reporting is a cornerstone of long-term success, particularly for a public company. You anticipate provision inputs, identify risks early, and craft scalable solutions.
You strengthen the finance function by ensuring smooth compliance, minimizing surprises, and fostering collaboration across teams.
You aren’t looking for just another role—you want to build a tax function that supports growth and fortifies the company’s foundation quarter after quarter.
